Privacy

React IoT operates from Western Australia. This page matches our terms and, like them, is a working draft pending legal review — what it states holds today. Questions: hello@reactiot.com.au. Last updated: 2026-10-17.

What we collect

• Enquiries — when you use the booking form or email us: your name, email, company, what you need help with and your message. The form is delivered to us as an email. A hidden anti-bot field drops automated submissions silently.
• Orders — when you buy hardware: your name, email, shipping address and order details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
• Project material — specs, schematics, firmware and anything else you share while we scope or build custom hardware for you.
• This website — uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate page usage (pages viewed, rough geography — not who you are). It sets no other third-party cookies and loads no other third-party scripts.

Mobile apps

Our apps collect nothing. BudTap has no account, no internet access and no tracking; see the BudTap privacy policy.

How we use it

To reply to you, quote, ship and support what you buy, and deliver the work you engage us for. We don't sell your data, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

Your project, your IP

Designs, firmware and data you share with us stay yours. We use them only to do the work, keep them confidential, and don't reuse them for other customers.

Our devices and your data

Our gateways publish to your MQTT broker. Devices we sell don't send telemetry to React IoT, and every board ships firmware-unlocked so you can inspect or replace what runs on it.

Retention

• Enquiries and correspondence: kept while we're in contact and for a reasonable period after, then deleted on request.
• Orders and invoices: kept as long as Australian tax law requires.
• Project material: kept for the engagement and any support period, then returned or deleted on request.

Who else touches it

Kept deliberately short: our hosting infrastructure; Brevo (delivers form emails to us); Google (Analytics on this website); our payment provider and shipping carrier when you order hardware; and, for custom work, the compliance labs and manufacturers we engage — only what they need, with your agreement. Ask us for the current list.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted (except records we must keep by law). Email hello@reactiot.com.au — we'll respond promptly, and we'll tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your data. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We'll update the date above when this page changes materially.
